Washington D.C. – the charming capital of the USA

First day

I arrived to Washington D.C after lunch, on Friday. I met one Brazilian couple who has lived here for many years. His name is Fabricio and his wife is Mariana. Fabricio is a talker, his English is very fast. But he has studied in the USA since his high school. Her mother is Brazilian and she does not speak Portuguese. They have three children, Caetano is cute.
Now, I will tell about the most charming city that I know, Washington D.C.
We went to Dupont Circle. This part is very beautiful; here are located some embassies. Dupont Circle is famous because here there are good restaurants and bookshops - lovely place.
Some homosexuals live there. In the USA homosexuals have huge salaries and they are respected. The people are more relaxed, you do not find that rush (that is in Brazil). The cafeteria is nice. There is one bookshop which is very nice and modern.
But that same part of the city, the ex-president Ronald Reagan was shot. And there is a church of which Tom Cruise is member, Scientology Church.
After Dupont Circle, at night we went to eat in Georgetown. Georgetown is a noble place with traditional houses and some stores. The restaurant was an Irish pub where you can dance and eat. I liked it. But USA does not sell picanha meat.
After our dinner, we did one tour in Washington D.C. It is beautiful at day and night. It was nice to see some places to visit in the following day and Fabricio knows them very well because he lives there.
After dinner, we went to the hotel because in the following day, I had to wake up early to visit some places.
